THE NAMEPLATE

I co-authored The Nameplate: Jewlery, Culture, and Indentity with Isabel Flower (Penguin Random House, 2023). It explores the cultural significance of nameplate jewelry, tracing its personal and collective meaning through essays, testimonies, portraits, and archival imagery.

The book has been acclaimed by The New York Times, New York Magazine, and The Guardian, and is housed in the Costume Institute Library at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Isabel & I have given in publics talks to sold-out audiences at the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Lower East Side Girl’s Club, Parsons, The Rhode Island School of Design, and New York City Jewelry Week.
